Mitch Blake is a Jim’s Mowing Franchisor dedicated to onboarding, mentoring, and supporting franchisees to build profitable, sustainable businesses. Known for his supportive leadership, Mitch helps new operators gain confidence, capability, and momentum from day one.
Mitch’s journey with Jim’s began after spotting a franchise opportunity online, attracted by the structured support and guaranteed work available to new franchisees. Entrepreneurial from a young age, he quickly recognised that long-term success comes from strong systems, coaching, and guidance — all of which Jim’s Mowing provides.
With these systems in place, Mitch exceeded expectations in his first year, turning over more than he had previously earned in mining. He also discovered the energy and fulfilment that come from connecting with other franchisees and contributing to a collaborative network.
That dedication to helping others naturally led Mitch into a franchisor role. Today, he works closely with franchisees throughout onboarding and beyond, providing practical advice, mentorship, and hands-on support. He is passionate about helping them build strong customer relationships, develop confidence, and run profitable, well-structured businesses.
Within his first six months as a franchisor, Mitch was recognised with the prestigious Diamond Franchisor Award, reflecting his commitment to franchisee success and the strength of his region.

How Does a Jim’s Franchise Work?
A Jim’s franchise belongs to the wider Jim’s Group network, however, each franchise operates as a semi-autonomous business. Franchisees are responsible for running the day-to-day operations of their business, while their franchisors are on hand to provide them with ongoing support and mentoring. How do I know which division is right for me?
At the end of the day, the answer to this is a highly individual one. The best way to figure out which division is right for you is to think about what you enjoy doing and where your skills lie. For example, if you enjoy working outdoors and working with your hands, perhaps a Mowing or Fencing franchise would be the best fit for you.
