We’re a local lawn mowing and garden care business headed up by Darren, as Franchisee. As a local of you may already know him, or have seen him on the road with his iconic Jim’s Mowing trailer, tending to lawns and gardens all around town!
Prior to becoming a Jim’s Mowing Franchisee; Darren was a Metal Fabricator and Team Leader for 12 years, building tippers and aluminium body’s for the heavy transport industry. After being in the same industry for 17 years he was looking for a change in career. Jim’s Mowing offered him the chance to run and grow his own business while still maintaining joy in his work life, such as, being outdoors, customer satisfaction and a much better work/life balance. It was important for Darren to have flexible hours to spend more quality time with his wife of 9 years, 4-year-old son and baby girl on the way. Darren’s favourite pass times consist of spending time with his family, going on motorbike rides, doing odd projects in the shed and spending time in the garden.
