During his university days, he had worked for another Jim’s Mowing franchisee, where he got his first taste of the rewarding work that lawncare provides, both for the customers and for himself. While he spent the intervening years in corporate roles, sales and town planning, he has since ditched the office work to get back outdoors and work for himself.
In a recent franchisee interview, his passion and commitment to the job were evident:

Coming from a business-orientated family, Joe’s exposure to the industry started early when his parents ran a mowing business around the time he was born. He has since been able to follow in their footsteps by partnering up with Jim’s Mowing through their franchise program. His goal today is to help as many people as he can have beautifully presentable lawns and gardens. He can offer a variety of services and insightful advice to help his customers’ visions become a reality. From choosing the right grass variety to planting ornamental bamboo in your garden, you can rely on Joe to guide you in making the right decisions concerning your landscaping and lawn upkeep needs.
When he’s not busy tending to lawns and yards, you’ll find Joe spending most of his free time with family and friends, keeping up with the news and watching numerous documentaries about science, economics and history.
As a passionate motorcyclist, he also enjoys spending his weekends exploring the countryside. A keen member of the adventure motorcycling community, he also spends his spare time as a DIY motorcycle mechanic, along with other members who are part of the workshop.
