Having lived in Sydney’s western suburbs his whole life, it wasn’t until not long ago that Geoff’s career took a sharp change in direction when he left his role of 20 years with Mazda to pursue his passion for green.
“I wanted a career which would offer the freedom of working for myself” says Geoff, who at the weekends can often be found supporting his wife and daughters at the local netball. “When you work for yourself, the rewards of your own hard work are your own – plus I really needed a healthier lifestyle – so working outdoors in the garden seemed like a great fit!”
Having always loved spending time working in his own garden, Geoff made the transition easily into his new career, and is now a regular sight around town with his iconic green Jim’s Mowing Trailer.
