When it comes to the question of what can be used for garden borders, the answer is pretty much anything you can think of! Garden borders and edges can be designed using timber, bricks, natural stones, flowers, or a combination of several methods.

Bright borders
Planting small border plants is one way of defining your garden edges, and doing so with brightly coloured flowers can draw attention to your garden. There are lots of different flowers that can be used as garden borders. Agapanthus make for a popular border plant, with bright purple or white flower clusters at the end of a long stem.
