As is the case with a number of our franchise partners, Stavros wasn’t always helping to maintain customer’s lawns and gardens. Prior to joining Jim’s Mowing, he kept himself busy as a professional chef for nearly 40 years. While he’s no longer doing it professionally, he still manages to put those skills to the test, through his active volunteer work for the Bentleigh Soccer Club where he cooks meals in their canteen. While he perfected his craft in the kitchen, he also nurtured a long-lasting love for the outdoors and for working in nature. Coupled with a desire for greater independence and a wish to become his own boss, Stavros decided to join the growing family of Jim’s Mowing franchise partners. Being part of a well-known and respected brand that has a strong support structure in place made his transition from one industry to another a smooth one.
Today, Stavros is right at home making the rounds in the Ordmund area, ensuring his customer’s lawns and gardens are kept in check.
